Well, today was the break's first fight with my mother. I was waiting for it, ha.
But yeah, she called me ungrateful and disrespectful, and threatened to send me into the world "without a family to take care of you." This was because I sighed when she told me FOR THE FOURTH TIME that I wasn't allowed to leave the house tomorrow because the relatives are visiting.
Are you kidding me.
I'm so done with this place. This is not home anymore. |

This is what he said:
"I need you everytime you contact me. But I want to know if I still need you when you're not constantly in my life. So, don't try to contact me over break, and that way I can find out how I really feel about you."
This is what I said:
"Ok."
Am I crazy, or is that code for 'I want to break up with you without making it anyone's fault?'

Tonight is tree-decorating night, with the cousins. I am so excited to see them. There is something so refreshing about youth. I'm not saying I want a slew of babies all of a sudden (dear god, never), but I do really really really love Emma and Catherine.
Last night was nice. It separated me from school a little bit, which I needed. I know I'll be aching to go back in another few days, but for now, it's nice to be content where I am. |
